Adams Elementary in Lincoln, Nebraska works every day to
build a caring community where students have pride in their school and treat
one another with compassion and respect. But these values span far beyond
the school’s walls. They spill into the
city of Lincoln and reach across the state of Nebraska and beyond.
When news broke about the devastating floods of March 2019, the Adams PTO organized a “Red Out at Adams” which encouraged all teachers, students and staff to wear red, a color that Nebraska known for (Go Big Red!) and donate to the Rebuild the Heartland Community Flood.
These Nebraska kids stepped up to help Nebraska in a big way. In total, they raised more than $2,400 for the fund. We are so grateful to Adams Elementary for supporting those that were impacted by the flood.
